Occasionally, ATCo facilitates workshops by visiting academics. In 2001, Prof. Jonothan Neelands (University of Warwick) ran a successful series of one-day workshops around the country. In 2003, ATCo facilitated addresses by Prof. John O’Toole (then at Griffith University, now University of Melbourne) and Dr Joe Winston (University of Warwick) at a Ministry of Education Arts Hui in Wellington. In 2004, Prof. John O’Toole was contracted as invited guest director and dramaturg for the devising of Everyday Theatre’s performance, known as ‘replay@timeout’. In 2006 Ass. Prof. Penny Bundy (Griffith University) was invited to deliver the reflective keynote at the end of a colloquium in Wellington which was a collaborative day of presentations by the Youth Education Services—Offices of the Police Commissioner, Child Youth and Family, and ATCo. In 2007 Profs. Jude Ackroyd and Andy Pilkington (both of Northampton University) visited and ATCo facilitated addresses by them at the University of Auckland and the Human Rights Commission. In 2007, Assoc. Prof. Carole Miller and Prof. Emeritus Juliana Saxton (both of University of Victoria, BC) ran four days of workshops in Auckland and Waikato.
